My stepdad sits there and chews me out because he saw me with my headphones on while I’m riding my bike. Then he goes and ahead, tells me “Your Mom and I warned you…” I really wanted to talk back to ‘em, but I held myself back. 

My parents have never told me or warned me about wearing headphones while I’m on my bike in the first place. My dad sitting there saying, we saw you almost get hit by car while you were looking around and singing. FIRST OF ALL, I DON’T SING WHILE I HAVE HEADPHONES (But I do talk to myself)! 2ND, I DON’T ZONE OUT, I’M PAYING ATTENTION TO MY SURROUNDINGS!
